

Inspiration
As a family Leanne moved to Cornwall in the coast near Gwithian Towans where she spent her teenage years. This area is Leanne’s main inspiration for her seascapes. Moving to South Devon in the 1990s, Leanne is now surrounded by Devon hedgerows and wildflower meadows. The Flowerscapes Leanne’s renowned flowerscapes have an amazing amount of detail in them. Technique
All of Leanne’s original flowerscapes are predominantly oil, embellished with glitter, gems, gold leaf and other embellishments. These unique paintings are created using an impasto technique. Impasto turns paint into a sculptural element, not just colour. It helps to create highly textured artwork that adds dimensionality & tactility.
